Grand Bahama firearm chase ends in officer-involved discharge

Two men, ages 19 and 23, are under police guard in hospital after being arrested in connection with a firearm investigation following a high-speed police chase on Grand Bahama that ended in a crash and an officer discharging a service weapon. Shortly after 11pm Saturday May 16, officers attached to the Grand Bahama district initiated the pursuit. 107 Haitians deported

The Bahamas Department of Immigration confirmed it has deported 107 Haitians to the French-speaking Caribbean Community country. San Salvador traffic-death investigation

Police on the island of San Salvador are continuing an investigation into a traffic accident that occurred Friday April 24 on Queen’s Highway, Halls Landing, which has now claimed the life of a 43-year-old man.
