The Tradewinds Brief publishes satirical news, commentary, and cultural reporting. Many of our daily briefs, columns, and dueling-blog posts are works of satire and parody, written through fictional editorial personas with comedic voices and exaggerated viewpoints.
Where a post is satirical, the events, quotations, and characterizations it contains may be invented, exaggerated, reframed for comic effect, or deliberately ironic. They should not be taken as straight factual reporting.

When we reference real public events, public officials, or national news, we follow established public-record reporting from credentialed news agencies in the country covered. We do not break news. We respond to it.
